OUR STORY
the Beginning
Our story started in 2018, when we met at Quoin Rock Wine Estate in South Africa. At the time, one of us had just moved back from France, and neither of us could have imagined that this meeting at work would be the beginning of such an incredible journey together.
What started as a connection between colleagues quickly grew into something much deeper.
2020 A year of change
When the world changed in 2020 with COVID, our path took an unexpected turn. Instead of standing still, we decided to embrace the adventure together.
We travelled to Austria, where we spent six months working at the beautiful Hotel Schlosshotel Ischgl (5★ Superior). During that time, we explored the Austrian mountains, discovered new cultures, and even managed a trip to Amsterdam for a well-deserved holiday.
Those months abroad strengthened our relationship and showed us how well we could navigate life together — even during uncertain times.
2021 New Adventures
After our time in Europe, we returned to South Africa, where we began working as private chefs and continued building our life together.
Soon after, another adventure called: Namibia. We spent time there working, travelling, and experiencing the incredible landscapes and wildlife the country has to offer.
2022 the next Chapter
Our journey then took us back to South Africa, before life opened yet another unexpected door.
In 2022, we moved to Saudi Arabia, where we are still working today. Living abroad together has been another exciting chapter in our story — full of new experiences, cultures, and challenges that we continue to grow through together.
2025 The Proposal
In January 2025, our story reached one of its most beautiful milestones when he asked the big question — and of course, the answer was YES.
2026 The Wedding
After years of travelling the world, building a life together, and sharing countless adventures, we are now preparing for our biggest celebration yet.
In November 2026, we will say “I do.”
And this is only the beginning of the next chapter of our journey together.
